I wanted to have a nice relaxing day yesterday, not just because of it being my birthday but also because of it having been a rather tiring week. I think I managed it. Thanks to everyone who left me birthday wishes in my last post, it was really nice. I had a fairly decent day. I woke up earlyish so I decided to have a treat and made pancakes for me and my mother as it was her birthday too. They were very nice, even though there wasn't quite enough oil for them. My dad came home with a freeview box yesterday. Now I have lots more channels to not watch because there's still nothing on. Unfortunately the only three decent channels (Discovery, UKTV Gold and Cartoon Network) are extra and you have to pay for them. So far I've been watching repeats of Friends. 1. Bought my ticket to Manchester Airport for Sunday. It's £10.70 just for a single which seems a lot when a day return to Manchester is £7.
   
   
2. Got my travel insurance from Endsleigh.
   
   
3. Ordered $450 in traveller's cheques. I need to go back tomorrow afternoon to pick them up but I might leave it till Thursday when I'm passing.

I got my flight booked! *does a happy dance*

It is such a weight off my mind to know that that is all sorted. I had to decide between a cheaper flight and one with better times and less of a stopover, but in the end I went for the cheaper one.
